HARRY POTTER'S EMMA WATSON ON LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN TALKING ABOUT HER, "WARDROBE MALFUNCTION"

The 19 year old Emma Watson who was hilarious on Letterman, spoke about her little wardrobe malfunction that she had during the London premiere of, "Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince" but she is no Britney Spears or Lindsay Lohan, she said that,"at least I was wearing underwear"!

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE 7/9/09 RESULTS

On tonight's SYTYCD, the top 10 was chosen.  The show opened with a dance number by the finalists to the song, "Seven Nation Army" by The White Stripes.

It was announced that the proposed SYTYCD Michael Jackson tribute was not going to happen due to lack of Jackson's music clearance from either Michael's record company, SONY or the family estate.  Too bad.

The bottom three was Caitlin/Jason, Phillip/Jeanine and surprisingly Ade/Melissa.

Kevin Rudolf's hit, "Let It Rock" was one of the songs playing in the background for the first fall edition of Season Six SYTYCD audition tapes.

The bottom three's songlist:

Caitlin: Stand By Me by Playing For Change

Jason: Calm Touching by Evaline

Jeanine: Baby Romance by Chris Garneau

Phillip: The Diva Dance from the Fifth Element soundtrack

Melissa: Kashira by Kodo

Ade: Windowdipper by Jib Kidder

The special music guest was DJ David Guetta with Kelly Rowland singing their international dance hit, "When Love Takes Over".

The latest So You Think You Can Dance contestants/couple to be voted off, eliminated and sent home were Phillip and Caitlin.  But Caitlin and Phillip will be on the SYTYCD tour.  

The goodbye song was Kelly Clarkson's, "Already Gone". 

 

BIG BROTHER SEASON 11 7/9/09

Season 11 of the successful reality program, Big Brother began tonight as we met the contestants which included a neuroscientist, an Ultimate fighter and a female contestant with large breasts.  Let the games begin!

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE 7/8/09 RECAP

On SYTYCD, the remaining twelve contestants had to perform two dances for the first time.

Guest judge tonight was choreographer, Tyce Diorio.

Up first was the coupling of Melissa and Ade  who electrified the dancefloor with the disco number, "Move On Up" by Destination.  To sum up the judges comments in my own words, "it was discolicious!"

Kayla and Kupono did a contemporary piece that dealt with addiction to the song, "Gravity" by Sara Bareilles.  Kayla was superb and Kupono was a few notches below, but still good.  The judges found it to be "powerful" and "brilliant". 

Jason and Caitlin danced a jazzy Foxtrot to the music of "Minnie the Moocher" by Big Bad Voodoo Daddy which was very elegant.  The judges thought it was smooth and suave.

Jeanine and Phillip performed to "Kalinka" by Barynya which is a Russian Folk Dance and they did it rather well!  What did the judges have to say?  Nigel found it to be too folky, but liked their dancing, nevertheless.

Evan and Randi did a hip hop routine to a non hip hop song, Beyonce's, "Halo".  The judges' take was that it was a pleasant surprise, even though Tyce said that Evan needed to, "find more".

Brandon and Janette sizzled with a fine Argentinian Tango to the tune, "Libertango" from the Forever Tango Broadway soundtrack.  The judges comments were ecstatic! 

Melissa and Ade's second dance was to Mary J. Blige's, "You Make Me Feel Like a Natural Woman" in their last dance as a couple since starting next week, all of the remaining dancers will be paired with new partners.  The judges found it to be beautiful, but Ade could have been a tad better. 

Kayla and Kupono danced to a Broadway number to "Dance at the Gym" from the musical revival of West Side Story.  The judges stated that it lacked danger in the characters, even though the dancing was fine. 

Jason and Caitlin performed a very good lyrical jazz piece to, "Show Me Heaven" by Maria McKee.  The judges critiques were that it was danced well technically, but said it lacked chemistry, magic and may not be so memorable.  

Jeanine and Phillip did a fun jive dance to the Bette Midler tune, "Stuff Like That There". The judges were impressed especially with Jeanine.

Evan and Randi danced a samba to, "Ritmo de Bom Bom" by Jubaba that lacked hotness and hip action (mostly by Evan) according to judges.

Brandon and Janette performed a jazz routine by Roisin Murphy, "Ruby Blue" and they got raves from the judges including a comment from Tyce, "it was technical excellence!

THE SUPERSTARS 7/7/09 RECAP

On tonight's Superstars, the remaining competitors did the Lagoon Swim in which Kristi Chastian and Maksim Chmerkovskiy won and Terrell Owens and Joanna Krupa landed in last place.

Next event was the Basketball Shootout in which the teams had to get as many points as possible in a minute timeframe.  Did WNBA Basketball player, Lisa Leslie do well in her sport?  No, she and David Charvet played overconfidently and landed in second to last place in this particular challenge.  Julio and Brandi won this event and Kristi and Maks were in last place.

Kristi and Maks and Bode Miller and Paige were in the Rubber Match that took place on the basketball court. But, Kristi and Maks prevailed, so Bode/Paige joined Lisa/David, Terrell/Joanna and Jeff/Ali at the Obstacle course.

The latest Superstars team to be eliminated and sent home was Jeff and Ali.
