PHOTOS OF ALL OF THE CONTESTANTS!!! THE ULTIMATE DANCING WITH THE STARS RECAP, SCORES, WINNERS AND LOSERS AND SONG LIST 5/5/08

The professional and celebrity dancers, once again, had two dances to perform: a ballroom and a Latin routine on tonight's Dancing with the Stars.

Faves, Kristi Yamaguchi and Mark Ballas got raves from the judges, but in my opinion, gave a technically correct, but boring quick step with few, if any, crowd pleasing moments. Kristi's scores were two tens and a nine from Carrie Ann.  Kristi's second dance, a more energetic samba to the tune of the classic, "Volare" that wowed with a few delicious spins, but the judges were underwhelmed, even though the scores were two nines and an eight from Carrie Ann.

Mario delivered his best performance yet, with an elegant and totally not stiff Viennese Waltz to the tune of Alicia Keys, "If I Ain't Got You.  And he wowed the audience and the judges.  His scores were all nines.  Mario's second dance was the jive.  Surprisingly, his "stiffer" dance was better.  His jive was rough like Len said, even though Carrie Ann and Bruno liked it better.  A pair of nines and an eight from Len.

Marissa did an absolutely enjoyable foxtrot to Frank Sinatra's, "New York, New York".  Another crowd pleaser and the judges loved it too!  Marissa scores were two eights and a nine from Carrie Ann.  Marissa's second dance was the mambo.  It was pretty good.  The judges liked it.  Marissa's scores were a pair of eights and a nine from Bruno.

Jason performed an intense tango.  Another winner!  Jason's scores were two tens and a nine from grouchy Len!  Jason performed a solid samba in his second dance in my opinion, but the judges thought it lacked rhythm. Jason's scores were two eights and a seven from Len!

   

Cristian de la Fuente was willing to risk further injury to please his fanbase.  He did the tango to Michael Jackson's, "Beat It".  Good effort, but not passionate enough for my taste.  But, the judges liked it a lot.  Cristian got two nines and a ten from Carrie Ann.  Cristian's second dance was a pretty sexy mambo.  The judges were very impressed!   Two tens and a nine from Len!  Crisitian found himself at the top of the leaderboard!
